Power of Goals and Mentorship | Become the Best Version of Yourself
Garrison Grimaud is a 22 year old graduate of Oklahoma State University. He received his B.S. in Aerospace Administrations and Operations with an emphasis in Pro-Pilot. A team of three other OSU students and him came up with an innovative idea for aviators where they competed against other universities. This was through NIA and the FAA. The team managed to become a finalist and will be traveling to New Jersey in late June in order to compete for first place!
This speech was Garrison as the Key Note speaker at Francis Tuttle Technologies in Oklahoma City (2022). He spoke on the power of Goals and Mentorship and the incredible value that pushing for what you want can do for you. The main poi...

Good day and thanks from the NSW out back. Nice aircraft! I and my mate rent and fly Comanches and more recently, Archers, out of Bankstown airport in Sydney, at least once a year when the weathe starts to cool. We have even entered Sydney Harbour, and I routinely spot whales on the Sydney coastline at 500 feet. I hope to see more videos from you. Thanks for reaching out, my dad had this plane for about 17 years. As of two years ago he sold it to a new owner so I can't give you up to date costs with the current market. I do know that on average the annual was in the 2-3k range but the occasional 10k if things landed all at once. An overhaul is available because the engine is essentially just two Lycoming IO-360's bolted together.

@@RaceMentally I'd say just like anything, depends on your mission. Comanches are great airplanes that fly fast. cruise at 185kts burning 20 GPH but they also have their issues. Its a heavy and old airplane. They commonly have gear issues. My dad had a gear failure multiple times, luckily the backup release worked, but thats more money to fix it. His most expensive annual was 13k. This was about four years ago so with current prices, I assume that would be closer to 16k.
